We used the ski school and it was very good (but we were teeangers). My ski instuctor was called Manu and he was very funny and spoke brilliant English.

also went on a school trip and loved it. Probably ideal with children.

its not fab at the mo, although more is expected. The rest of Feb is supposed to make up for the lack of white stuff so far in the Alps. (from what we've read).

ok so it's 12 days to go. now the questions are kicking in. Would anyone happen to know if there are lockers near ski school, as we are a 10min walk from village/town, and really don't fancy the idea of walking with 3and 5 yr old plus skis and snowboards.

I have no idea what it's like now, but I went (and I scared myself when I counted it) 27 years ago to Claviere which is the next village across the border in Italy.

The only thing I remember about Montgenevre is walking there one evening for a moonlight skate on an outdoor skating rink. It was fab.

Have a lovely time .

thanks surfermum for your reply. We are so excited, DS1 5 is counting down the days, we too are looking forward to the holiday, especially as its been 5 years since we've been on our boards. ok, so we'll have 2.5 hours a day. fab. but our main concern are the DC. we are just looking for possible answers to our hols.

Just back, we had a fabulous time. Only complaint, can't understand how after a morning of skiing and afternoons sledging, playing in parks or skiing with us, both DS1 and ds2 (5 and 3) STILL woke up at 5.20am every blinking morning. Montgenevre was great for children, plenty to do ski school and creche (snow garden) was excellent. If you haven't been for 20 years, I'd recommend you take your children.
