Family friendly restaurant recommendations in Chamonix

We're off to Chamonix in Feb with grandparents and a 3 year old + 13 month old. We'll be in eating in most nights, but maybe one night we will venture out as a group. Any recommendations of kid friendly places?
Also somewhere not too pork heavy as OH and kids don't eat pork at all?!!!

Are you in Chamonix town itself? There is a really nice place just opposite McDonalds, in the building opposite It was very relaxed and cheap and cheerful, but great food... we ended up eating there every night except one. It is a bit rustic/cafe/pizza joint, but the food was good. We were there as a group of adults, but it struck me that kids would have been fine.

.... although having just checked the name on Trip Advisor it gets very mixed reviews... Le Pitz, may say it all! We had nothing but a good experience, but goes to show you how things can vary.

Yes we're in Chamonix town itself. I'll have a look at it when we're there.
