Have been to both Obergurgl and Selva with Esprit. Enjoyed both. Have booked for Gressony in Italy next year.

We go to Champoluc with Ski2 - I cannot recommend them highly enough. Fantastic instructors, lovely quiet slopes and the snow is brilliant this year.

Just realised that Gressony is linked to Champoluc - I did a rather spectacular head plant into powder there a few weeks ago!

Have a look at Seefeld in Austria. We were there in January and although we did not ski, I am a skier (in a past life!) and could see it was great. Very family friendly. Lots of great nursery slopes. A really lovely resort with a massive indoor water world place with water slides and a lovely spa. I was there withe kids aged 5-12 and the was plenty to do alongside skiing. I love Austria though so am somewhat biased smile

Last post - we have used the crèche for 4 years - same British staff each year and they have been great. This was our first year without the crèche as our youngest is now 4 and managed full days in ski school.

They also arrange transfers on cars from the airports, with snacks, drinks and car seats.

The Hotel Relais de Glacier is very nice, with an outdoor hot tub. It's a bit of a walk from the goldola, but the hotel has a minibus or ski2 will pick you up.

Saalbach/Hinterglemm or Zell am See are good.

Try the Kinderhotels in either of these
