I really need help with some ideas on which company to go with on our next ski holiday. We're a family of 4 with 2 dc who by next Feb (2014) will be 12 and 10 (but will turn 13 and 11 in March 2014). They've been skiing 5 times now and are both fairly competent down reds, both parallel ski. The elder is more dating and likes to go off piste and be challenged.

We've been several times with Snowbizz (who have been great) and Family Ski (OK but had a couple of issues several years ago). My DH is a very good skier and would like to have other people to ski with. I'm ok pottering around on blues and would like other activities in the area such as a pool and shops.

The dc like the company of other kids and the evening entertainment at Snowbizz has been a great success. However this only goes up to 11 years old. It would also be good if there were afternoons of ski guiding for kids also.

Does anyone have any ideas of what companies to look at? Also we are fixed to either new year or feb half term and would rather it not break the bank unless it ticks all the boxes.

Fussy I know! Please help!

We always use Neilson. My favourite place with them is Katschberg. I cannot fault that resort or the hotel in it. DS loves it as well.

We always try and go for a larger chalet or chalet hotel. Always found similar age kids to ours in the holidays. Our kids ski with us. Been with crystal, ski france, ski world, ski bound. Always last minute.
