Arrived on ski holiday yesterday. Today dd fell off ski lift ( about a foot) and hurt her leg. She got seen by a doctor, and xrayed, and there were no breaks. The doctor said there was just bruising, and she shouldn't ski for a week. Sitting around the chalet, she's walking soundly, limping when she remembers to.
I didn't see the accident, she can be a drama queen when she injures herself, but she certainly doesn't seem too bad now. Is there a reason why the doctor would have signed her off skiing for a week that we don't know about?

Not a Dr, but where is she saying it hurts?
Knee, then I can understand needing rest. Ankle will be encased in a nice supportive boot.
