Olivia is it true you're pregnant?

Tee2072 Wed 17-Jul-13 19:15:19

You should never ask someone that. It's very rude.

Congratulations!

Congrats, Olivia. Now, can we pick the name? <makes list>

Tee2072 Wed 17-Jul-13 19:27:25

Well then why are you asking if she told you?

Perhaps she would have liked to spread the news herself?

RoooneyMara Wed 17-Jul-13 19:28:24

Tee she just posted it on another thread. I don't think, well I hope it's not a secret.

I have seen her say so on a Site stuff thread I think.

What Tee said.

Ugh my SIL does this kinda thing.

LadyBeagleEyes Wed 17-Jul-13 19:33:34

Congratulations Olivia flowers.

Tee2072 Wed 17-Jul-13 19:33:56

Then I repeat my question...why ask if you know?

And if you know, you don't share unless expressly told you can.

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

LadyBeagleEyes Wed 17-Jul-13 19:35:41

Come on Tee, not nice for Olivia to read.
I'd no idea she was pregnant, but if she's already said on MN it's not a secret.

marriedinwhiteagain Wed 17-Jul-13 19:37:57

Ooh Caspar, Jaidon, Ophelia, Britney?

Tee2072 Wed 17-Jul-13 19:38:36

That's not the point LBE.

But I'll leave it now and just quietly dispair the end if etiquette in the world.

Which I have been despairing over for years, not just on MN.

Hello blush
And thank you all both for congrats and concern about privacy etc.
Yes I am indeed Officially Off The Gin (god help the trolls grin)

Congratulations to you and yours thanks

marriedinwhiteagain Wed 17-Jul-13 19:50:00

Well my dd (5th pg) was the only one who got to term. High risk pg, lovely obstetrician. >>whispers<< he said "my dear girl, if a gin in the evening makes you feel more relaxed, there's no harm at all in having one". And there wasn't - 41.5 weeks, shot out like a bullet, bright pink and screaming.

TheHuffAndPuffALot Wed 17-Jul-13 19:51:13

Best sell my shares in gin now then.

Congrats Olivia, lovely news.

nenevomito Thu 18-Jul-13 21:24:59

This is indeed brilliant news flowers

As for names it depends on which way you want to go. Tanqueray and Sapphire or Gordon and London.

I can't help with names other than that. I just read through the baby name book until I got to the first one that DH didn't hate. I almost killed him as it turns out he hates pretty much every name in existence.

EeyoreIsh Thu 18-Jul-13 21:35:23

Coconutty Thu 01-Aug-13 17:52:30

Congratulations, can't wait to join the baby names thread.

Maryz Thu 01-Aug-13 19:03:07

Henrietta, those names aren't alike enough for twins, who we all know aren't really two people at all.

So you need:

Boy/Girl
Harry/Harriet
Paul/Paula
George/Georgina (get the theme?)
Jaidon/Jayden (if you want to be more modern)
Jordan/Jordan
Rory/Rory

Boy/Boy
Harry/Henry
John/Jack
Conor/Conal
William/Liam

Girl/Girl
Any combination of Molly/Milly/Millie/Elyssa/Alyssa/Alicia/Ellie/Elle/Ella/Emma/Amy/Amie/Izzy/Issie etc, etc. You could go on forever, but do make sure that at least one of them is pronounced incorrectly and the other spelled incorrectly.

PollyPlummer Thu 01-Aug-13 19:09:20

How about Mitt and Moo ?
