What about a Radio station or magazine?

Hmm.

"Gin. The drink of vipers."
MN distillery?
"Gin. The drink of vipers."
MN distillery?
"Gin. The drink of vipers."
They already seem to be diversifying at a rate of knots, like cells splitting under a microscope. Its astonishing the number of things they are trying their hands at. I predict that in 10 yrs time there will be an MN version of everything, probably with multiple antibiotic resistance.
P'raps an MN phone which prevents multiple posts?
Endorsements. I think they do that already though.
A Which! style magazine? I can see them doing that quite easily.
There should definitely be some MN merchandise. Would love a MN pen/mug/bumper sticker.
I like the distillery idea
. Keep 'em coming...
A lingerie range, surely - beginning with the judgy pants!
An iPhone app that doesn't make me want to throw my phone at the wall.
MN twiggy shit homewares
MN waterfall cardigans
MN buns - for fighting
I thought there was already some kind of online shop with tee shirts and mugs and that kind of thing?
Need an MN biscuit factory that only makes
whatever those are.
A distillery for sure.
A retirement home for those of heading towards that age. I mean, of course we could go to Gransnet, but perhaps a nice old house, with a wide porch full of rocking chairs and high speed wifi? Like this, but with tablets and not knitting.
A range of self help videos
Getting A Grip
Accepting YABU
A Trollers Guide
Oh yes, and to add to your list Honeydragon
No is a Complete Sentence
I got another one - MN crochet hooks and knitting pins for the Woolly Huggers
SDTG - that's friffing genius!
Toys - how abot some MN Lego Technics and wnaky baskets?
They'll probably be in straitjackets, the way things are going round here.
Gin and Buns will do for me

"A Which! style magazine? I can see them doing that quite easily."
I read an interview with Justine where she said that her original idea for mumsnet was a Which-style thing. It evolved naturally to be -- a nest of vipers-- a much broader online community instead, which she seemed pleased about.
Justine did I remember that right?
Strikeout fail!
A MN scarf with the MN logo all over it instead of leopard spots (or whatever they are).
what happened to the tv programmes, in which bored mums took up lacrosse again and that sort of thing?
Or did I dream it all?

Witty thread deletion caption writer
An MN Hotel California.
Perhaps MN could run its own PR company... Just found this by googling for mumsnet merchandise
Chaos thinks I said something friffing genius! Highest accolade ever!!
I'm liking the idea of MN Care Homes for the Elderly Viper. Hot and cold running gin, obviously.
Goes without saying, really, BIWI.
True!
Bobble Heads of all the MNHQers.
And as for me, and as for me, I made my mind up back in Chelsea, when I goooooo, I might have a bit of a lie down.

Well yes that sounds like it could have been me...
Seriuosly, JustineMN, while you're here - do you have any idea where this may all head?
Could you have envisaged this Massive Thing 12(?) years ago?
What I love about Mnet though, is even though its massive, is its ethos remains.
When we're all chucking our toys out the pram, and yelling at Justine, we still get that post
Im not abandoning you, I just have to do baths and bed and I'll be back
That's what makes it still ours, rather than the advertisers. That we, the rambling nonsensical free loaders come first
Surely Mumsnet will be running the country in a few years?
Justine for PM?
Sounds good to Zombie.

Well no, but then I am a bear of very little imagination. Seriously (and I know this sounds a bit cheeseballs but it's true) all I've ever felt strongly about in terms of what next for MN as an enterprise, is that we should listen to/ engage with Mumsnetters. I think, through luck and with hindsight, that turned out to be a wise position, because after all it is really all about you (now I sound like a commercial, so I'll stop there
).

YY that is true. MN's business philosophy beautifully summed up, I'd say: We want the advertisers but not at the expense of the nonsensical freeloaders
.
I bet the Bank Manager LOVES that business ethos
Yup, I'll bet you're listening to me about that distillery.
Would save you a friffing fortune.
I'll altruistically offer my services for Qualiry Control.
