Take a mini survey and help the Breastfeeding Manifesto Coalition

(30 Posts)
The Breastfeeding Manifesto Coalition is developing a national 'breastfeeding friendly' scheme, to support women who want to breastfeed when out and about and they've asked Mumsnetters to help. Their most powerful asset in convincing venues and organizations to sign up is YOU - so they are running a brief survey to gauge how many of you would be able to spread the word, in order for the scheme to reach as many places as possible. The survey only takes a minute - click here to complete it, and please tell your friends if possible!

Thanks
MNHQ

I "left" the survey for the reasons neenz outlined below.

Is it a survey, or a way to canvass mothers to do stuff?

(Besides, I live overseas so my replies would not help the overall issue)
What exactly will the venues be signing up to? What will be asked to do to 'spread the word'? Is it posters, or telling people not to restrict BFing, or is it to provide somewhere for mums to BF hmm - hope not, women should not have to hide themselves away to BF. It just wasn't clear on the survey what on earth we are signing up to.
oooh, and forgot to add one of the organisations that I'm a member of that is no doubt involved!
done wink

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
