O2 family technology survey: everyone who completes it goes into prize draw

GeraldineMumsnet · 19/06/2009 11:18

We've been asked by O2 to find out about the technology in your home, and who uses it.

This survey's open to all mums in the UK with at least one child.

O2 wants to find out if technology (mobile phones, TVs, the internet etc) helps or hinders family life: does it mean you can get more done in a day, or does it add to existing pressures?

If you have an opinion, please take a minute to complete this survey.

Everyone who completes the survey will have the chance to win £100 of vouchers for the store of their choice, plus an O2 Joggler worth £150.

Thanks
MNHQ

done but don't know what somethings meant
what is streaming music across the home?
Also do hours watching TV differ from hours watching TV via sky + and do hours onthe internet differ from hours on social groups and is MN a social group or a forum?
but i did it anyway and would very much like a joggler.

Well i have done it but it seems to give a very strange view of my household...like DH is the main one that uses gadgets when clearly i spend every moment of my free time using them
I don't think that's right. Must remember to take charge of the tv remote more often...i'm sure i can watch tv while simultaneously MNing, playing on my PSP and using the washing machine!

Have done. But left teh load the dishwasher qustion blank as we are all equally responsible for puttin gour own stuff in. DP unloads though.

Oh and the question about things that DPs do which annoy us...love the plant for Sky Sports ...personally DAVE is a bit more of a problem in our house....In fact i think I feel a witty thread title coming on.

There should also have been an option for "both the same", when asked who does the most of what: like the dishwasher - and in our house, we both listen to the digital radio equally (we only have digital radios in the house)

done BUT I wanted to tick more than 1 box on 1 of the lines, the one for using facebook, as we all use it.

I decided the kids use it more than the adults (just)

done. Made me realise that despite both dh & me either working or formerly working in IT, it's the kids that actually use technology most often.
