So what does it take to get a thread moved to Mumsnet Classics then?

Cos OneBatMother and I have been campaigning for the Georgette Heyer thread for quite some time now to no avail.
Is there someone we have to sleep with?
Or had the thread been deemed not worthy?
Because if it has, I warn you, I'll flounce.
There are places where Regency romance is appreciated you know.

Yes. You have to sleep with Tech.

SoupDragon · 19/02/2009 21:31

No, you have to sleep with all the Techs.

You have to have Friends In High Places

How many of them are there? I'm prepared to sleep with one, but OBM will have to sleep with the rest.

You'll have to sleep with them in costume.

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 19/02/2009 21:40

That's OK, they will give up after half an hour of trying to get my corsets off.

No sleeping with the Techs - we can't have them grappling with corsets when there are glitches to fix!

LadyGlencora: I'll submit the Georgette Heyer thread to the scrutiny of the MNHQ Classic Threads Sub-Committee and let you know what they conclude.

I'll sleep with either of them, I'm not picky.

Admission to Mumsnet Classics does not depend upon sexual favours.

but chocolate works wonders...

Can the, erm, hairdryer thread be considered too?

Report
LadyGlencoraPalliser · 21/02/2009 15:16

OK, Helen, so if sex is out of the question, what kind of chocolate do you like?

Reality: has no-one nominated the Oxo Tower thread before, then?

Ok, could you report it, please, Reality?
