Go down to the bottom of the customize page where it says COLOUR SCHEMES

this is trick, it is MORE THAN colour schemes

click on Mumsnet New

Then press SAVE

viola

not that have found a scheme I can endure

Yup, definitely more equal.

I quite like it.

It's like DH shaving his tache off, the same, yet a bit like having an affair

Oh YES Mumsnet Classic DOES work in I.E.

Oooh so it's Mumsnet Classic in I.E. or Mumsnet New in Firefox

I.E. is to slooow for me though so I will have to bite the bullet

Good Lord, I had no idea I was on Classic, I just thought it was a colour scheme option. I do like the new one but am not keen on the truncated thread titles.

Unfortunately, now I'm on Mumsnet New I don't get the active convos list - I just get a column of 'hide' - is Tech getting back at me for my Burns Night petulance?

is there no way at all that we can choose to have the old style

I had it set on MN Mute which was different to the MN Classic I had it on yesterday.

However, just changed to MN New. Looks OK - like Snigger says like your DH after he shaved his tache off or, alternatively, like your best mate after a radical cut and colour.

Then, being a bit of a rebel, I thought I would change back to Classic but ....... exactly the same as New.

Explain that!

I will leave it one New now - onwards into a brave new dawn and all that.

Nailpolish if you go back to CLASSIC and view it in I.E. it is very similar

You might need to press CLASSIC colour scheme AND the Classic button at the top of the Customize page too

Er, I imagine the margins will be filled at some point.

I bet it'll be an ill-spelt pedant-rattling advert

Just click on peoples posting name like before to access the profile - makes more sense than duplicating the method of access.
