GMTV want to talk to you

RachelMumsnet · 07/01/2009 13:06

We've been contacted by GMTV who are looking for a mother/toddler group to film either tomorrow or Thursday this week. They are wanting to talk to mothers about which websites mums use... obviously it would be great to give mumsnet a plug, so if you're interested PLEASE email Simon Quiney - on 07515738326 or post on this thread.

'either tomorrow or Thursday'. Don't know what time warp you're living in, but in my world tomorrow is Thursday!

Out of curiousity, if GMTV contacts Musmnet headquarters directly for their request- do they get to pay the media fee?

I am curious because i work in media and would love to have it clear for future reference.

Cheers

okay, okay, hands up...Tomorrow is indeed Thursday - am in still in that hazy post christmas time-warp. So I meant tomorrow or Friday 9th. Please PHONE him on that number, not email . Simon at GMTV contacted us to see if we knew of any group that may be interested, so we thought it was better to put something up on the board. Because the interview will be about mums' use of the net, we figured a group found on our boards were likely to mention what a great place mumsnet is

Barcelonababe, most media requests should go directly up on the boards and not via MNHQ, but we do ocassionally waiver the fee e.g if it's for a charitable event or student's study etc, or if we're able to get some publicity or a plug for the piece. If you're unsure, do write to us at mnhq before posting. Hope that clears things up and sorry for confusion caused by my original post.
