In a flurry of forward planning we're thinking ahead to January and would like to know your New Year resolutions (as long as they don't include spending less time on MN ). Thank you in advance.

Make more effort to get enough sleep and me time - it makes EVERYTHING else in my life from relationships, to work, to money, that much better.

Oops - mine is going to have to be less time on MN I'm afraid.

Other resolutions are to menu plan and keep house tidy.

In 2009 I shall be stylish and classy and have lots of sex. Actually, even just a little bit would be nice.

And, I plan to start a Facebook group that gets 1000+ members. I haven't decided what it's going to be about yet.

Wherever possible and reasonable, I am going to say 'Yes' to my children.

Wherever I can get away with it, I am going to say 'No' to DH.

I am going to learn some 2 letter words for Scrabble so I can beat Diane just once.

I am going to alternate my terrible slovenly teenage reading choices with worthy books like wot I used to.

I am going to nourish a tomato from seedling to fruition, instead of carting another dessicated carcass off to the bonfire because I'm too bone idle to heft ass to the greenhouse with a few watering cans a day.

Fin.
