Suzy...not sure about MN comps - but a US forummy thing I use cannot give prizes to UK users because of legal reasons. I don't think it is MNHQ fault.

<So if I enter for my other 9998 children you will be able to do the draw then [grin?>

Can you say that Overseas MNers will be treated like the rest and be eligible for any competition. Ever?

If I am the promised prize winner (wink, wink) I will fill in twice more, as I have 3 kids. Give me the nod and away we go.

Ok so we are on the home straight on this one but just need a few more folks to add their thoughts before we hit the magic 1000 respondents.

So please - anyone who hasn't filled this in, or has only done it for one of your children - add your thoughts now - we promise it will only take 2 minutes of your time and you could win one of 4 Dysons or a Sony camcorder ....as well as our eternal gratitude grin

Not fair! My DS is too young for school but I have very strong opinions about homework at this age. If I invented a hypothetical child would I be disqualified???

Custardo: if you think you can't enter because your kids are too old, think again!

We've now enlarged the scope of the survey to include parents of children over 11 and under 4. (Ignore the intro blurb at the top of the survey; that'll be changed in a sec).

Because we'd like to hear everyone's views. And we need MORE of them pronto [smile}

The pedants among us, even if they do what their teachers instructed, and read all the questions before answering, may omit certain questions. Numbers 5 and 7 both ask "If yes..." regarding the previous question. So, if you've answered "No" to numbers 4 or 6 you shouldn't aswer. But the questions then go on to give a 'Never' option. Tut tut.

Ok so stung by a small but vocal contingent of anti-Dyson Mnetters we've enhanced our offering for the Homework Survey prize draw. We have procured a Sony Camcorder option, if by any chance our lucky winner would prefer it to a Dyson.

We've also enlarged the survey to include the thoughts of Mnetters of kids not quite in the primary school age range.

So please please fill it in. Fill it in for each of your children (and be entered multiple times). Ask your friends to fill it in, hell ask your enemies...

(You can tell we're desperate, right?)

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
