Flier and Big Tech - so sorry, I never thanked you for this - hopefully I've covered all the bases now and I can be inundated with MN roundups and competition wins!

So, bad enough to email me at home but not to excommunicate me.

Hmm, feel like naughty school girl. Nice try MamaG.grin

Actually, I thought maybe I'd won a really smashing prize but they'd had to give it to someone else. Then realised I've not been receiving any of the regular MN emails since I limited my inbox to contacts...

there are different email addys to add to your contacts, depending on the newsletter

MUMSNETDEV_12345@MUMSNET.COM
MUMSNET_INC_12345@MUMSNET.COM
MUMSNET_PR
12345@MUMSNET .COM
MUMSNETTKR12345@MUMSNET.COM

Where 12345 is your talk number which you get (i think if memory serves me correctly) from your registration page

Hi

I've just checked registration page and there's a message to say that the last time MN tried to email me, the attempt failed.

I know the email address is right, but I've had to limit my inbox to my contacts only and so your emails will be going to junk. That's the only reason I can think that emailing me might have failed? If you agree, can I have your email address so that I can recognise you/add to contacts?

Message
Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]
For an embarrassed face, , type [blush]
For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]
For a sceptical face, , type [hmm]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
