Yes definitely. Not sure whether to laugh or cry at TM.

Just reading the thread title "Super soaker etiquette at parties" makes me

Link!? You haven't seen it? Don't you just sit reading threads all day . It's an exercise in sheer bloody mindness.

Oh I agree. 306 posts on 'super soaker etiquette'! And morningpaper is hilarious.

My fave line, "I am amazed at the anti-supersoaker feeling on here" (Tigermoth). Tigermoth you've been around MN forever and you're wonderful - and we never knew how much you loved your supersoakers - would you mind if it went into Classics? We absolutely won't put it in if you'd rather we didn't course.

Well, Pinkblossom, since TM has been described by MN as 'wonderful' and you have not, I would laugh - politely.

I don't think it's classic, I think it's actually pretty unpleasant and shows mumsnetters as

a) uptight
b) bloody rude

(but realise I am alone in this. Maybe you had to be there?)

I don't think a criterion for a classic thread is necessarily that it has to show mumsnet/mumsnetters at their best though is it WWW? I would have thought something could qualify on grounds of it showing MN at it's most surreal?

Wow - of course it can go in the classics thread if you think it's worthy of the honour, Justine.

I'm happy for it to be there - I just hope all the people who posted on it feel the same way as I don't want a single comment on it to be deleted. That's my only proviso.
