Can anyone explain please:

I do not have the for sale threads as one of my chosen topics.

Nevertheless, I have some toys to sell and so started a thread in for sale on Saturday.

I have been checking for responses by clicking on "threads I'm on" and have actually made a sale so other people can see my thread.

However, just now, I decided to click on the for sale threads to see where my thread was (ie how far down the list) and I cannot find it at all! It is there in "threads I'm on" but not in the list of threads in for sale.

What is happening?

Oh dont worry, I have found the answer in the Mumsnet guide to selling: threads in for sale dont get bumped up the board when someone posts on them.

I see.

Well, I know why Mumsnet did this, but there is no hope at all of me selling anything furhter now is there? No-one is going to scroll down to Saturday's threads....

Oh and alphabetical thing doesnt seem to work for me either MN.

I am PMSL Califrau, as I had absolutely no idea when I started this thread, but by the time I had written the second post, I had begun to wonder if I should have said anything at all.

You know when you say something that makes everyone in the room stop talking? I feel that was me earlier!

Ummmm, I'll just wander off again, then, shall I?

Yeah.

OK.
