Can we have a tick box to opt out of Christmas threads???

I really really don't want to have to think about Christmas yet.

I don't want to think about what to get for presents, arguments about rellies. I don't want to think about interesting things to do with marzipan. Active Convos is filling up with Christmas and it's not even Halloween yet.

Can I at least opt out until December???

Opt out is on it's way, we promise. But till then you'll just have to try and look the other way. Sorry!

at MamaG.

What made me laugh was that after I posted this bah humbug rant, not a Christmas thread was to be seen in active convos. I must have looked a real idiot.

Ha ha! THe thing is, people start to buy now in order to spread the cost - or they at least look at what to get so they can organise finances.

Oooh, I am sounding far too sensible!

Gobbledigook I'm covering my ears. Far too pragmatic for me, thank you very much with your sensible remarks and your balanced advice.
