Why can't I log out?

I tried to log out last night and found I could't. Clicking on the log out button just takes me back to the topic list, is it so I spend longer on mn because I don't get anything done all day as it is!
I only wanted to log out for a little bit, I will log back in honest!

Hi there, I'm not sure if you are joking or not, but logging out just means we stop automatically filling in the name and password boxes when you add a message (and it also stops some links like "threads i'm on" from knowing who you are). It doesn't hide the topic list - you can read that and all the messages without being logged in. Cheers, Tech.

That is odd charliecat. Could you click "Log out" then go to www.mumsnet.com/TalkTestPage and put "CharlieCat" in the box and click "store" - then I can have a look at what's going on.

Hello Charliecat, Strangely, I can't see any record of you clicking "log out". Can you do it again and then click "threads I'm on" again and I'll watch what's going on. Thanks.

D'oh that's our fault. That link (log out on my talk bar) wasn't doing anything. That's why I was so confused and couldn't see that you'd logged out. The "magic" one earlier was me testing. I've fixed the link now so it should be OK. Thanks a lot for your help.
