... and means we all get PMT at the same time.
I cant believe the amount of arguing going off today!
Its Easter Monday. Its lovely weather. We're off work with our beautiful babies, be they early / late weaned, breast / bottle fed, dummied or not / spoon fed / BLW
Enjoy them! Get off the computer and go out, come back in better moods.

I'm off to a farm with the DH & DD to see the ducks and an emu (among others), see you later!

Don't want to argue Elf, But I get really irritated by people ( usually men)
asking if you are PMT, just because you have disagreed with them/ shouted.
A poster on here accused me of it during a reasonable discussion and it really got my goat.
Talking of goats have a lovely day at the farm!

That was not my intention Daffodil
I just get rather upset when it feels like the whole site has been taken over by swearing and flouncing and this weekend seems to have been particularly bad.

I know Elf.
I think they have all been out in the sun for too long!!!
I wish people would not get so personal.
All very sad and so not what MN is about.
Anyway go before you start killing threads again!!!

LOL - I cant even keep thread killer as a job title seeing as the weaning thread is still raging!

Hanging about 'cause dd is asleep at the mo!

ELF1981 · 09/04/2007 12:56

we went to the park on Sat, went to a different on eto usual, it was excellent - the slide is huge and wide, DH, DD & I all went down side by side at the same time! She loved it!

Did you have a good day ELF? I think I know where you went (I am local I think). Do they have DONKEYS to? Is it worth it. I may take DC tomorrow?

Hi ya

Created another thread, it was fantastic. DD is 18 months old, she fed most of the animals and was fascinated with them.

I have never been before, but there are sooo many animals! There are cows, pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, all sorts of smaller animals like bunnies, llams, emus, ostrich, a reptile centre, plus the petting zoo bit. DD loved it!

lol - I usually only get into arguments on here when I've got PMT.

Congrats Elf on keeping the thread alive! How was the farm?

No periods align by hormones in sweat

you have to physically be with the other woman for the effect to work, sorry

(however it is probable that at any one time there will be quite a large proportion of us menstruating, yes)

FrannyandZooey · 09/04/2007 21:52

Sorry, that should have read:

No, periods align

etc

oh you know what I mean

I guess if you assume that there is a MN population of 75,000 (wasn't that quoted recently?).

Lets assume just over a third are amenstrual (preg/bf/menopausal), lets say that leaves 40,000

Assuming an average 4 week cycle, so yess I guess 10,000 of us are menstruating (and therefore premenstrual at anyone time ).

gosh that is scary!

People's cycles aren't really randomly distributed around the month, though. Mine is nearly always bang on with the full moon and this is the most common time to have your period.

Report
hunkermunker · 09/04/2007 22:06

Not if you have a cycle that's randomly between 52 and 32 days long, Franny

I was in a house at uni with 12 women.
All periods at the same time. Not funny.

Re arguments this weekend. I haev missed it all. Could someone PLEASE tell me what the threads wwere that were so controversial ?

Report
FrannyandZooey · 09/04/2007 22:09

Oh, I didn't express that well

at the full moon more people will be menstruating than at other times of the month

not that the full moon was the most frequent time for menstruation to begin for each individual

Report
FrannyandZooey · 09/04/2007 22:09

Oblomov - early weaning
