MNHQ, please can you ditch the B&Q ad?

I am sick to bloody death of the B&Q ad popping up and taking over my entire screen randomly. There I am, happily opening a thread, the text loads and then before I have a chance to read anything, it's all covered by a picture of a bloody kitchen!

I don't want to have to close it down multiple times a day so that I can read the thread.

I've actually just moved house and am regularly in B&Q and will need a kitchen sometime soon but the rage the stupid pop over advert is really putting me off the brand which is surely the opposite of the point!!

Hi Blatherskite,

Sorry about this! Can we ask what device and browser you are on? Could you also send over a screenshot of the ad?

Google Chrome on my laptop. Will take a screen shot next time it pops up.

B&Q ad has finished but the Interflora one is doing it now!!

Clicked on nothing after loading a thread and yet all I can see is the blinking advert!

Hi there BlathersKite. Thanks for flagging this. And we got your email - thank you for that, too. We've forwarded it to Tech and will drop you a line as soon as there's any news about whether there's anything you can do to stop these ads reappearing.

If anyone else is having this same issue with this ad, please do let us know here, again with details of what device and browser you're using and (if possible) a screenshot.

Thank you!

and now the fitbit one does it too. I've been on the site for about 15 mins and have had to close the interflora one and the fitbit one. I clicked on neither, they take over the whole screen and play music. Google chrome.
