P&C spaces and disablism

I know I shouldn't engage. I'm about to hide one but in the past, I have reported them but nothing gets done. It's the same old shit really. There are multiple comments about people not "looking disabled". Would you said to someone that they didn't look ?! Why is this allowed to stand? Also, the usual comparisons about how mummy2princess wouldn't park in a blue badge space, so mobility impaired people shouldn't park in P&C. I mean, come on, comparing them is not on! Why are those posts allowed to stand?

It's covert disablism, sometimes quite overt and I'm sick of it. I'm fed up of explaining how being a parent should never ever be compared to having the need for easy access to buildings and shops.

MNHQ, please help us take a stand on entitled parents who think it's ok to compare disabilities (whether they be ones eligible for blue badges or not) and a perk that supermarkets use to make parents spend more money. I'm not saying delete the whole threads but I don't understand why some of the posts that I mentioned above are allowed to stand.

Hi Crashdoll,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. This thread was started by a GFer who was also a PBP and so we have zapped the thread now.

The thread was only reported 3 times. Once late last night and twice this morning. Apologies that it took a little while for us to get to it, if you see similar again, please do report it and we will get to it as quickly as we can.
