Kindle Fire Silk Browser freezing problem

I'm starting another thread because the previous one seems to be getting us nowhere.

The site hasn't been working properly on Kindles for days now and it's really really frustrating.

MUMSNET - WE KINDLE USERS NEED SOME HELP PLEASE.

Go to app store, download Opera, problem solved. Grin

It still runs a bit slow sometimes, its like the sheer weight of the collective MN wisdom is clogging the cogs, or the hamster needs feeding.

I thought it was just me! I assumed my kindle was just getting old. Hopefully they'll take note and sort out the glitches.

Me too. Actually I'm glad I saw this thread, because I thought it was a problem with the browser/my tablet in general. But now I think about it, it has only been happening on Mumsnet (I think).
