MNHQ policy regarding PBPs

Can you clarify please?

I reported a thread as I suspected it was a (rather prolific) PBP.
It turned out that it was a PBP and the thread was deleted. However AS showed that the PBP had been back at MN undetected for about two weeks before the thread that outed them. All of their other threads under that same user name were still there.
I reported one of them as I feel that this person thrives on attention and any further replies to their made up thread is exactly what they want. That thread hasn't been deleted.

So why is that all threads by a PBP aren't deleted when they're discovered? This particular PBP totally makes stuff up and their threads have huge inconsistencies and contradictions.
Also does HQ put the onus to MN users to do AS on a PBP and report each thread under that username individually?

Coconutty, it was on Relationships several days ago. HQ deleted the one I reported for being a PBP then totally ignored my report of another thread by the same poster.

Well clearly HQ doesn't want to answer my question, so I'll just report all of a PBP's threads when I see that one has been deleted.
Seems silly that the onus is on me as user to do AS and then report them all individually as surely it just makes more work for HQ reading all the reports.
