How in gods name do you re-size them so that it fits??

I've made the photo smaller but it makes it a closer shot so the image has a MB bigger size iyswim.

it's driving me insane!

Please someone tell me where/how I can do it....

just upload the picture without doing anything to it. Should let you click resize once you have selected your photo from browsing.

Changing the physical size of the photo doesn't usually help - you have to change the size of the file, which means changing thr resolution.

I downloaded Microsoft's Image Resizer Powertoy for Windows XP: here The download link is on the right, you'll need to scroll down to find Image Resizer
Open up a view of your images using Windows Explorer or My Computer
Select the image(s) you want to resize
RIGHT mouse click on the selected images
In the dialog box that pops up, choose "Resize Pictures"
Choose the size you want and click OK
Copies of your new resized images (with a size ( ) in the filename) will appear in the folder with your other images. This way you can keep the original image, which you will need if you want to print it.

We have a different image resizer programme, I have tried taking image size down to 25% of what it was, but still won't let me do it. {waaaaaaaah}
