Can't change my name!

I've had enough of being a Blast-ended Skrewt and would like to be be something a bit more pleasant for a change but I have tried several times over the past few weeks and when I click "Save Changes" the screen goes blank and stays that way. Any clues as to where I'm going wrong?

I've had this problem for months now. There was a thread about it here a while ago in which HQ asked for details in a PM. I sent some and never received an answer. The problem is still the same.

Morning everyone - we're sorry this is still rumbling on. Apologies for missing your reply, BursarsFrogs! Tech are working on this today, but they need more examples of usernames. If you could let us know what you're trying to change your username from/to by mailing us at: [email protected], it would be super helpful.

Dan from Tech here, we're really sorry this is happening, this one has really had us scratching our heads for a few days but we think we've finally found out what was causing this issue. It seems when on your account page and filling out information, if it autofills your postcode area it was adding in some extra spaces making the postcode longer than it should be. We're implementing a fix which should be released as soon as possible but for the time being if you need to change your username have a look at these sites on how to turn off autocomplete on your browser for the time being.

We've released a fix for this so you should be able to change your username without any issues.
