I see Northern Irish posters are looking for their own section on Mumsnet.
May we have an Irish section please ?There appear to be lots of Irish posters on this brilliant forum.

I'm interested too. Or else could it be an Irish Board rather than a Northern Irish Board?

I'd be interested too.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I want this or not because I like mingling with all the different nationalities but it could be handy for finding out what day the Children's Allowance is on each month Wink

Scotsnet have their own board and it can be really helpful as a lot of the boards in education for example don't fit our education as we have different systems.

Yes would be good for education - that's true. Dc1 is starting junior infants in September so I'll have lots of Ireland-specific questions on that!

There was a good political discussion a few months back after the general election. I think there are quite a few Irish posters on Mumsnet.
I find Mumsnet easier to navigate than Boards. ie
