That Very ad

Is it just me? Or have you actually allowed Very to border the whole site with their skinny ladies in swimming costumes parading around? It is extremely distracting and I'm surprised you allow it because to be honest it completely wipes out your own brand.

I understand you have to get your money somewhere but you're in danger of turning into babycentre or some such and if it continues I'm off. Can't concentrate on the threads anyway.

In fact it's fine because it's so annoying I'm off to do the things I was procrastinating over on mumsnet...

Hi,

So sorry for the total PITA - we've flagged to the Ads team, and will let you know once we hear more...Flowers

Please get rid of this huge advert. It covers my screen and then refreshes the page, making everything on the page jump. It is really getting on my nerves!

It does feel like the ads have taken over today and it does make it harder to read posts.

You could do with a background for the for the scrolling share links on the left if you keep the big showy ads, even if it's a reduced opacity background. They're not as clear with the multi-coloured background.

The giant advert is back, this time it's Littlewoods. The page is still jumping and reloading. Sad

I know Justine hates it, but I've installed an adblocker, as these huge adverts (littlewoods, a morning after pill) are making the site practically unusable.

Thanks Tokelau, we've spotted it too (and wondered if it was connected to the jumping/reloading issue). We've flagged it to our Ads team and our Tech folk to see what they can come up with.
