Good question that! I'd say it was worth dropping community team a line (firstname.lastname@example.org) so they know your reasons for changing details - just in case you cross their radar at a later date and things don't add up?
Hi Myinlawsdidthis,We've been in touch off the boards by now, but we're happy to answer the question in general terms here.Basically, we do understand that folk will occasionally change a few details here and there to make themselves less identifiable. And that's fine! We'd only step in if we can see major discrepancies in someone's posting history. Our Talk Guidelines state: No trolling, misleading or deliberately inflammatory behaviour.So, changing a few details is not the same as trolling in our eyes - as ever, though, we look into things on a case-by-case basis.
