I have recently become WAY too obsessed with stalking mumsnet... But there's so many abbreviations... What are they all? Please tell me I'm not alone in my ignorance Confused

Here is a list of acronyms www.mumsnet.com/info/acronyms

But you still might find there are some abbreviations which aren't on the list. And some of them have multiple meanings, depending on the context. For example EA can stand for emotional affair, emotional abuse or estate agent!

Flower, if it's any consolation to you, IIRC (if I remember correctly!), when I first joined MN I actually printed a hard copy list of all the acronyms, which I kept next to my computer, so that I could refer to it when I was reading - or posting - on threads.

This was some years ago. Now I frequently think in the acronyms IRL (in real life) and I have to stop myself using some of them in RL conversations!

Of course, some/many of them are in general use anyway.

But you'll soon get the hang of it - then your obsession will overtake you and then you'll be sucked into MN Hotel California Grin
