Top banner making me want to throw my phone!

The top banner, the "it's maternity leave" legal one, is about 5x the size of the others and is covering half my screen.

I'm on a Nokia Lumia.

It needs to go.

I've got the Crieff Hydro one too. It's making the site hard to navigate because it's covering most of the shortcut buttons.

I suggest your ads teams soend a few days reading MN on the mobile site as it's clear they've never been near it.

The worst bloody ads are the MN ones (when it's not another version of the flashing ! ads). Strongly contrasting blocks of colours constantly moving on a website that is used for reading is off putting, irritating and almost physically painful.

Having similar trouble here.

Granted am using an older, slower phone than I am used to - but the whole site seems to just freeze up regularly.

It's very annoying.

Yes, I think the advert's doing the exact opposite of what Crieff Hydro wanted now. No MNer's going to want to go near the place.

I went to Crieff Hydro once - very very nice place....
(On a desktop with a script blocker so its not annoying me - just feel like someone should put in a good word for them )
