Refresh losing my place

This has been happening over the last couple of days. When I hit refresh at the bottom of a thread I get taken to the top of the refreshed thread and not held at the place I was at. It means I'm spending ages trying to find out where I was in any fast moving threads, or if I come back to a thread after a break.

It's driving me a bit batty. Can you fix it please? Safari on latest iOS on iPad 2. Thanks.

So sorry things are playing up for you. We'll flag this to our Tech team to see if they've been shifting things around...

I'm on the microwave your dog thread, which is painfully funny and moving fast, so I'd REALLY like this fixed!

This is still happening and it seems to be an entirely random glitch. I've now got to the point I sit there looking at the screen refreshing, and I know at what point it jumps to the correct place in the thread if it's going to, and get cross when it doesn't.

It's ever so frustrating. Any clues yet?
