This one?
I took a screen shot earlier because it's been bugging me for days and I was eventually going to start a thread too.

The gap on the left of the banner g4as a flashing red stop sign which is quite painful on the eyes.

That's the one! Been driving me nuts for nearly a week. In fact I've been keeping away from the site as it's so irritating.

Now there is a new one. A MN one about taking surveys. Angry

Moving images on a small screen that you're trying to read hurts MNHQ. DD was up in the wee hours puking, I couldn't get back to sleep so was reading and it was awful.

Hi all - we'll sent this over to the Ads team.

BankWadger - do you have a screenshot of this new one?

Thanks Becca.
Haven't seen it yet today so hopefully it's gone Smile

I'm going to have to stop reading MN until this horrific flashing ad has gone! Also the mumsnet own ad for Insight is pretty bad. The phone screen is too small for these flashing adverts.

The MN survey ad has gone for now so couldn't get a screen shot. It has been replaced by this monstrosity though.

Seriously all ads with moving images should be banned, at least off the mobile site.

Hi all - the ads referred to in the OP should be all gone now.

The Ads team have asked if you could copy and paste the click through URL on the thread if you spot any similar ones This will help them to target and block them effectively.

That's great! I have a lovely neutral-coloured-static tumble dryer one now. I can happily ignore that.Wink
Thanks for dealing with it so promptly. Flowers
