Emoji not appearing in app

I'm using the app on iOS 8.3 and as of today emoji aren't appearing in my posts. There's a wee gap where it should be.

Any ideas?

It's been happening to me also - I put it down to the App having a Tuesday moment because I don't think they're doing much if any work on the current version. (It also seems to be leaving out items within square brackets but that's just if my memory serves me. (It always seems to have left out anything within brackets.))

It clearly also leaves out the arrow brackets themselves.

I'd guess you're posting on the Desktop site, Dawn? It's missing on the App version of this thread.

I'd checked it out on desktop, mobile and app (but I'm not on iOS so maybe that's the difference).

Anyway, sorry if this is a problem for some of you! We've flagged it to our Tech team and will report back as soon as poss.

Ooh Dawn's emoji is there! I haven't tried using mobile or desktop as I only use the app on iOS.

I just posted there using the standard square bracket emoji - but on the App. It didn't like that.

Probably best to leave it till tomorrow and see if Tech has fixed it.

if it makes any difference the only 2 emojis I can see on here are from desktop post and I'm running the app but on Android Lollipop
