Mumsnet crashing Silk on Kindle Fire all the time

Just that really! Has been happening frequently over the past few months, sometimes worse than others.

Today I'm ill in bed and over the past hour, it has crashed 15+ times. Could really do with it just behaving today as am feeling sorry for myself.

Have cleared all caches, history, cookies and restarted tablet.

Please help, it is so annoying.

Crashing 15+ times in one hour is a bit excessive, frankly. Does it just crash for Mumsnet?

In the mean time, reboot as usual, but hold the power button down for around 20 seconds.

Then go into settings> applications> clear all data.

Let us know if that makes any difference. If not, we'll have a word with our tech team.

Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, I have tried that too and sadly it didn't help. Wouldn't really want to do that all the time as I lose all my interesting bookmarks each time.

It has been even worse this am as on some threads as I can only get through a couple of posts before it crashes. It has crashed occasionally on other sites but mostly on Mumsnet. Hasn't crashed while writing this though.

This has been happening to, too. Yesterday early morning it was constant.

Today started ok but it's getting troublesome now.

(Kindle Fire / silk browser. Definitely only happening on MN.)
