Mumsnet constantly crashing......again!!

I am getting really fed up with this now!

I love mumsnet but on my iPad and phone it constantly crashes, every time I change a page, or go to a different thread, boof! It crashes,

Nothing else crashes, just mumsnet, come on MNHQ what's going on? I can't take much more!

Me too. iPhone is fine, but iPad kicks me out of every other thread.

I'm off. This is crashing non stop. It's taken 6 tries to even open this thread.
Surely it can't be that difficult to sort out.

Hi all,

We know this is still a problem for many of you. Here are the latest updates from our Tech team on the main thread -

We're trying everything we can, but ultimately we're attempting to workaround a bug that has nothing to do with Mumsnet. Threads like this confirm it. We're not giving up though. If you'd like to help to push Apple to fix these problems, you can submit your own feedback to Apple. In the meantime, we'll continue to try and find a workaround. Thanks.

We have made a new, separate bug report to Apple now for the slightly different incarnation of this in iOS 8 (bug report number 20650483). We are also working with other websites who are having similar issues in an attempt to find a solution to this. I realise some of you are having issues on non iOS devices, but since we can more easily see this problem on Safari iOS we are focussing on solving that first and then will look at the other platforms. Thanks for your continued feedback and patience.

Sorry we don't have any other news for you at the moment. And above all, we're really sorry this is dragging on.

I can't understand how it is an Apple problem when it's clearly only happening on mumsnet for the majority of people,
every other programme I use on the iPad is fine.
It's just mumsnet that continuously crashes!

It's worse than ever. I normally use safari but also downloaded Mercury but it's equally as bad. I'm on the iPad btw. It's taken me nearly half an hour to get on here and post this.

Again? It never bloody stopped!

And the app doesn't have all the functions and it repeats itself, duplicating entries on "active". So I prefer the website. When it works.

It was happening all the time on my ipad 2 (ios 7), but other sites also crashed occasionally, and other apps (e.g.Facebook) It hasn't happened once on my iphone 5s, nor my ipad air 2.

For the last week or two, Mumsnet has been frustratingly slow, often each page takes up to a minute or two to download, and sometimes get timed out. I am on a laptop, using Google Chrome. Nothing to do with Apple.

Not having problems with any other websites.

Me too! Only Mumsnet, everything else is fine (am not in the UK, fwiw). It's been going on for a couple of months, such that I hardly ever come on anymore (how spoiled are we?) .
