Just continuously tried logging in and fails.

It's been a good few days and still my resolved.

iPhone 4s user but not yet upgraded to ios 8 as I usually wait a few weeks for apple to iron out teething problems!

I find the app better than mobile site which has to take time to load each page I click on (yawwwwwn!)

Had the same problem for about a week on iPhone 5 iOS 8, just started working again now!

Thanks for looking into it.

I much prefer the app because my phone takes so long to refresh between pages I get bored! Or I don't come on MN as often as I'd like because the app is much more instant and tempts me to come here more often!

So any attempts to resolve the app problem are received with hopeful anticipation!

Just checked and still getting 'logging in' flashing every second. I counted beyond 63 then gave up (am not seeing white with a black box in front of my eyes everywhere I look)!

what phone and ios are you using? I always wait a few weeks when the next ios comes out because it gives apple a while to sort out the massive problems they usually have. I wonder if it makes a difference for you using a different ios?

I use the app a LOT and it says "unable to connect to mumsnet" every time I open a thread, but works the second time. Sometimes threads are empty too.

I cannot wait for the new app. Please highlight the OP's posts in it, and show the photos, that would be perfect!

I'm also having app issues again

It won't refresh any pages, I can open threads I opened prior to it breaking but everything else loads totally blank.

I can't wait for the new app!
