..from the Sky Sports ad is driving me slowly mad.

I spent most of yesterday trying to work out why the laptop was intermittently cheering me .

It is only slightly less annoying now that I've realised what it is.

Please make it stop!

Hello - sorry about this; ads aren't supposed to auto-play sound so we'll try to track it down. Can you remember whereabouts on the page you saw it (ie is it one of the wide ads that run across the top of the page on the desktop version of the site, or one of the square ads at the side?)

If you can take a screenshot next time it happens and upload it here that would help us find it.

We asked our ad people to keep an eye out for it so maybe they've zapped it already

I've just had another "noisy" ad pop up - I don't know what it was for, but it was in the same place Fideline describes. The text said something about a Hotel and it was playing the music from Zorba the Greek, I think? But I don't know what it was for, as I was too busy trying to conceal my MNetting switch to another page to get it to shut up!

We're having real trouble tracking this one (or these ones) down - apologies.

Next time you spot it, if you could bear to click on the ad so that you can tell us the URL of the page it clicks through to, that will help us to kill it.

Screenshots also help, as do letting us know your device/OS/browser
