I bet people have so many questions for him.

It would have to be during holiday time so our DC can ask questions.
And he like cake. Not biscuits.

I think we're looking into this at the moment - we'll come back when we have an answer!

kim147 Thu 13-Mar-14 16:19:18

Stampy? Never heard of him.

JakeBullet Thu 13-Mar-14 16:25:14

I agree with this idea.....and so does 11 year old DS who wants to BE Stampy when he grows up!grin

JakeBullet Thu 13-Mar-14 16:28:06

Oh Atsea, you are missing out. grin

Stampy is a hero among 7 - 14 year old Minecraft players everywhere, Have to admit I do tire of his voice occasionally.

Dillydollydaydream Thu 13-Mar-14 16:30:08

I have 2dc who would love that smile

DD would be well up for this. I would gain even more cool mum points than I did when I got Jeff Kinney to answer her question on a MN Q&A

Ah minecraft, bought my DS a netbook, due to arrive in a couple of days and then we will enter this wonderful world, oh the joy.

JeanSeberg Thu 13-Mar-14 17:57:55

I always get him confused with Stumpy. Wonder what happened to him?

kim147 Thu 13-Mar-14 20:19:58

I kept calling him Swampy grin

mnistooaddictive Thu 13-Mar-14 20:26:49

InspirationFailed Thu 13-Mar-14 21:59:05

I We call him Stinky Longnose in our house. He drives me crazy.

Picturesinthefirelight Thu 13-Mar-14 22:02:49

Ds has been watching his bbc breakfast appearance on YouTube.

He seems like a nice bloke.

Mitchy1nge Thu 13-Mar-14 22:03:27

is he the one who threw used tampons at groundworkers working on the newbury bypass?

MrsSippie Thu 13-Mar-14 22:04:43

My eight year old wants to go to his house and just wait for him so she can look at him in awe!

JeanSeberg Thu 13-Mar-14 22:13:04

That's Swampy Mitchy.

Mitchy1nge Thu 13-Mar-14 22:14:58

thanks

I am officially old grin

joanofarchitrave Thu 13-Mar-14 22:15:05

DS would be In Awe.

He's been attempting to write a song for Stampy's competition this week.

My DSs love Stampy, he is the bane of my life angry his voice is grating

But he keeps the boys quiet for hours grin

Ds would implode.

Can I be the first to say 'Hullo Stampy' just in case he comes <sometimes Stampy impressions are the only way I can break ds's attention from youtube grin >

My boys love Stampy and so do I because of his child friendly approach and language.

We did however stumble upon one of his very early minecraft clips and he was a bit sweary in it - just to be warned!

The boys were very shocked - they insisted it couldn't have really been Stampy.
