You view box tester - box has stopped working

I was lucky enough to be a you view tester last April and am still using the you view box and love it.

Sadly, it has now completely stopped working and appears to be faulty. I've read the online forums and fault reports, all of which say to contact your you view provider (the assumption being that it is part of your broadband contract), which I can't do as mine was a wonderful gift!

It looks like I will now have no you view services, as I've no idea how to get it repaired and it's a pricey object to replace.

Bit disappointed that the product hasn't even lasted a year, so was wondering how I alter my review to reflect that, as it appears that these boxes do seem to fail quite frequently.

I hope I don't sound like a moaner, but it's a real shame that the product is faulty and in my case wouldn't even get to a year's warranty.

Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it?
Or, could someone from MN tell me who offered these boxes so I can see if they can repair it?

Sorry your youview box has conked out on you! We'll drop Insight (who deal with product tests) a line and let them know about this, and see what can be done.

I was also a tester, and my box seems to have stopped working too. Mine seems to be stuck on the start-up 'nearly ready/ please wait' screen. Did the product testing company have any solution to your problem?
