Site stuff

Is there any possible way to have an auto save?!?

I just wrote a humongous post on the DA campaign thread, using my phone as I'm on holiday (not a stealth boast, just a boast Grin), and the site went offline when I clicked post. Lost the whole thing.

Or, if not auto save, a pop up or something that the site is about to be taken down?*

*Obviously not possible if it is not deliberately taken down!

Thanks for raising this Tee, it's certainly something worth thinking about.

And Envy at your holiday!

Good idea Tee - I've started to copy every post before I press 'post' just so I don't lose them. But when I forget it's a real pain! (And it's always the long posts that you lose, isn't it?!)

I tried that boys it didn't work on my phone. It usually works when I'm on my computer at home.

Driving down the California coast today with an old friend. More boasting. Grin

I haven't found a way on the phone. On your computer you can normally go back on your browser and try re-posting it. Or at least copy it to re-paste when the site is back up.

Copy and paste works on my phone, I just have to remember to do it, as BIWI said.
