i feel a distinct shortage of emoticons

Cappucino · 05/06/2006 11:56

with which to express my complex and varied conversations

I think I need

  1. an evil one (pref with horns)
  2. several denoting bewilderment, from mild puzzlement to downright confusion
  3. a distinctly disapproving one
  4. a lustful one
  5. one to sum up that feeling of surprise, helplessness and terrible satisfaction felt when watching a piece of fuzzy felt going up the hoover

    any more for any more?

we definitely need confused ones
I spend most of my time on here in a state of bewilderment!

Can we have smug, please? With folded arms over a substantial bosom.

How about a "everyone on this thread except me is totally, utterly barking" emoticon?

I want a stamp my foot emoticon please...

I'd like a sticking my fingers down my throat emoticon for when PARP is just too subtle a response. Preferably with a gagging sound at the same time.

I have a very un-ample bosom, I just think having a large one would help me feel even smugger.

ignore all other posts except this one

we dont want tooo many emoticons it looks like a fcking cartoon. however i request immediatley a "raised eyebrow" smiley. i often have cause to use it and it would help me cut down on words - which i am sure you will agree is rather a blessing

peace out

Generally I think the less emoticons the better, but have long felt that an eye-rolling one would be very useful.

Report
YellowFeathers · 05/06/2006 14:43

Eye rolling is a must!

well if people are worried about too many emoticons then we could always get rid of envy

it is a deadly sin after all. and we're all far too mature for it surely?

Also one depicting a drink. Twiglett did suggest one with Gin at one point.

Look at it this way: we need funnier emoticons than Bad Mothers' Club (whose topic titles are funnier than MN's).
Gin
[sarky] (though how you render that in a smiley, I don't know)
[4]
etc
