How on earth could you ever think that thread was the definition of a spoof op?
How was it the definition of a spoof? A spoof means a sending up of a cliche/trope for comic effect. That was just trolling.
That was a troll thread.A spoof is funny and nobody gets upset IMO.
Trolling is trolling as far as we are concerned, spoofing doesn't come into it.If you are making it up to wind people up, you are trolling and breaking the guidelines.
That thread was horrible. I ended up in tears and got pasted and called all sorts of foul names.If you think that's a spoof, then knock yourself out.

I would guess it was the 'started by a previously banned poster' that made the difference, cumfy....
