Posts on active convos are timed between one and two minutes fast.

Have you been changing the clock so you can get a new set of lives on Candy Crush?

RustyBear Mon 06-May-13 13:41:16

Actually, looking at this thread in active convos, it looks like you're using two different clocks - my post is timed at 13.36 in the Started by column and 13.38 in the Latest post column....

It's not exactly that far out...does it matter? lol

Trill Mon 06-May-13 13:49:17

What part of this are you laughing out loud at PP? confused

Trill Mon 06-May-13 13:49:53

Yep - I just loaded up the time and my last post is apparently in the future.

Spooky!
We'll ask Tech to stop doing The Time Warp.

But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane

Aha! I wasn't the only one noticing that! Thought I was going mad! I had a post yesterday that ended up appearing after another two poster's, but they had responded to my post and when I'd posted it and the page reloaded their posts weren't there.

I noticed that yesterday, Rusty. I knew my computer clock had to be correct - but I couldn't work out why MN's clock was wrong. I'm glad someone else has posted about it, 'cos I was beginning to think that I'd lost my marbles grin

Testing...

Tee2072 Mon 06-May-13 18:19:55

Yup. 2 minutes fast...

Is Tech actually Dr Who?

I bet tech wins the lottery this week from a last minute ticket buy from the future grin

Tech (MNHQ) Mon 06-May-13 19:33:00

Whadda whadda. Looks OK now. It's meant to be keep itself right automatically right. It checks with the speaking clock on 8081 (shows age.)

Tech (MNHQ) Mon 06-May-13 19:33:30

Actually no, I'm wrong. It was right on the preview and wrong on the post. Will fix.....

Not sure

AHA, x post. Was still the wrong time though... grin

Trill Mon 06-May-13 20:14:44

It's just a jump to the left

Trill Mon 06-May-13 20:14:53

Still ahead...

OliviaMMumsnet (MNHQ) Mon 06-May-13 20:24:17

Is it not fast so that none of us are late for anything?!?!

Tee2072 Mon 06-May-13 21:23:21

Does 2 minutes make a difference?

Tee2072 Mon 06-May-13 21:23:35

Still ahead.

Tee2072

Does 2 minutes make a difference?

most definitely.

lougle Mon 06-May-13 21:59:02

2 minutes is vital if you're trying to catch a train that left 2 minutes before <helpful>.

lougle Mon 06-May-13 21:59:24

Yes, still 2 minutes out.
