When oh when (wrings hands) are you going to sort out the horrible glitchy app, dear Mumsnet people?
It still repeats the same half dozen convos over and over ad infinitum.
You said YONKS ago that you were going to look at it - so whassappenin'?
Yeess I know the mobile site is available... But on 3G or whatever it's easier to go straight to an app.
(Taps fingers impatiently ....)

Also hating the iPhone app. For the reasons mentioned above, and because when you are half way through reading a long thread, it refreshes and then says there are (null) replies. And you refresh again and the thread contents reappear, but at a different point so you loose your place in the thread.

I wish I had never updated

When you are on active, if you click the refresh round arrow gizmo (top right of the screen in the header bar, to the right of the word "active") what happens? It should load a whole new list then. The first four (currently) are
"stickies" so will always be there in that position, but below that you should get an up to date list. Does that not happen for you?

Yep it refreshes the list but then the new list starts repeating after 8 or so threads

Refreshing doesn't change owt.

Thanks for picking up on this Tech. I do hope it can be sorted cos I use the app loads - or used to when it worked.

The old app version worked fine. It was only when I (had to) update to the new one a few months ago that it went glitchy - the new app has been messed up the whole time for the last few months.

I did mention it to MN a while back and they said they were on to it....nothing changed unfortunately.

Repeating thread titles after the stickies and not refreshing a thread properly is driving me mad.

It's been doing it for months though, I thought everyone had either given up or it was working for them. I can't usually be bothered with very active threads on my phone now because I have to scroll to the bottom each time I refresh.

And the smilies! I don't know what the app ones mean and how they correspond to the ones on the main site. --possibly a sad face, I can't tell:)

It's the same on my ipad. The same 10 or so threads are repeated time and time again in active.

And in threads I am on, it says "null" with a massive sad face.

Same here. And I keep getting bumped from the App (usually just as I've written an epic post, annoyingly) too. On iPhone. It's bad all the time, but this week has been terrible.

And yes, the Active thing only having 6-8 threads is blargh annoying. I have also been whinging about it since forced to update.

Same problems here on iPhone - I started an identical thread a few weeks back and someone from mnhq said that tech were aware of the problems (repeated threads, rubbish smilies and null replies) and they would be fixed with next update but not sure when that would be.......app is virtually unusable atm

Savoy - if you press refresh twice on your threads I'm on, first you get the sad face, and then it updates them to be current. I now do that automatically!

Same problem here, also I can't see a way to deleted threads in 'I'm watching' on the app.
