Or we can all change our names to a Hully inspired theme and then MNHQ would be constantly reminded of their shockingly bad judgement call, banning a very well loved member.

Evening. We have posted on t'other thread but here's a bit of of C&P for you...

Evening all.

Ok, we can see you're all confused and upset by what has happened so, while we usually prefer to keep all this stuff off-board and between the poster involved and ourselves, we think it's best, in the case, to post up what's happened before you all get completely the wrong idea

We suspended Hully's ability to post last night. (Please note the 'suspended' part of that sentence.)

We had mailed Hully several times in the past to remind her of our site rules about personal attacks. So her suspension wasn't specifically and only about the PAs she was deleted for last night but because we had mailed her repeatedly about personal attacks and she appeared to be continuining regardless.

Usually, in cases like this, we get a mail from the suspended poster asking why they can't post, then we explain why and ask them for an undertaking to stick to our guidelines from now on.

Once we have that undertaking, we usually reinstate the poster's ability to post and everybody carries on.

We usually like to do this quietly, off board - but clearly that hasn't happened in this case.

We are in touch with Hully. She is being entirely reasonable and we're sure she'll be posting on the boards again very soon.

Hope that clarifies things for you all.

I've never seen so much support for one poster.

I bet MNHQ have a proper soft spot for her Wine
