I foolishly decided to update my apps yesterday. All my apps. Including the MN one. Now I have no idea what all the emoticons are and none of my threads load properly .

Can you please let us know if you have an ETA for the update to fix all the stuff that doesn't work/look right? The old app worked fine, although it was limited. This one is a big step backwards

I abandoned the app when I updated the iPhone app a little while ago. I've bonded with the mobile site now - you can bookmark and everything! and the emoticons aren't rubbish emojis

And I can't scroll up to check on facts while typing, which is a PITA but at least possible on the mobile site.

I've been wondering what the real benefits of the app are for a bit.

Personally I wouldn't be paying the devs a penny until they stop snowboarding the app demonstrably outperformed the browser.
