I'm having a few issues with my internet tonight, but MN seems particularly bad.
Or is it just my fucking annoying piece of shit Internet?
dazr mumsnet has been very, very slow for me too for several weeks since getting BT Infinity. Pages take minutes to load and nothing I've done inmpoves it

Fingers crossed I (well actually DH) might have cracked it (for me). DH was rambling about domain names and we found this webpage

it gave lots of information/advice and we (my DH!) followed the one to clear the local DNS cache
He went into START then RUN
then he typed cmd (to get command prompt screen)
Then he typed in:
ipconfig /flushdns (and then he hit enter - don't forget space between g and /)
It then displayed a message to say it had successfully flushed the cache
and BINGO - mumsnet is zipping through the pages again... long may it last!

Every bloody night this week Mn has been slow for me. It was early tonight and I am not impressed.
I may have to do RL things like talk to DH when I want to browse S&B and AIBU.

Apologies, folks. We are on the case.
And re the mornings/evenings thing: evenings (and lunchtimes) are our busiest periods, so it's logical that if things are going to slow down at all, they're going to slow down most obviously when the most people are on Mumsnet.
I know that the Tech team are working on improvements, though, so hopefully, the slowness problem should be sorted very soon.
