Am going to go and eat worms...

noooo I loved the floating bar! I'm constantly having to scroll all the way to the top to click on active threads - at the end would be better than nothing but I have it set to not have pages so some of the threads are really really long and it takes ages to scroll to the top or the bottom!

Bring back the bar!

FunnysInLaJardin Wed 05-Dec-12 17:15:59

I miss it too. I used it all the time. Now thread browsing takes twice as long.......

AmazingBouncingBabyJesus Wed 05-Dec-12 17:26:26

grin

Big fat juicy ones?

BahSaidPaschaHumbug Wed 05-Dec-12 17:35:43

GIVE IT BACK!

nextphase Wed 05-Dec-12 17:56:13

Helen - how about some wine or chocolate in place of worms?

I'd like the threads I'm on etc at the bottom of a page. Not sure of this floaty thing people are getting upset about - looks like I'm too late to the party again!

CuttedUpPear Wed 05-Dec-12 18:22:42

Please can we have the floaty bar back, MN is not the same without it sad

AnyaKnowIt Germany Wed 05-Dec-12 18:26:16

OK OK. We'll see what we can do. smile

But it won't be tonight, I'm afraid.

AnyaKnowIt Germany Wed 05-Dec-12 18:55:32

bradyismyfavouritewiseman Wed 05-Dec-12 19:28:50

Thanks LittleTownofBethleHelenMumsnet

<will mope until its back emoticon>

I agree with oaty and wankbadger.

I think the fact that it was opt out was enough. Don't like it? get rid.

Do like? keep it. Yay everyone is happy.

I am still not recovered from Brady getting kicked off pair of kings and THEN you steal my floaty bar.

<gets kicked while down>

NagooHoHoHo Wed 05-Dec-12 19:35:58

What?

You got rid of a thing that people could hide it if they didn't like it?

And they couldn't be arsed to work out how to hide it so you got rid of it?

hmm

PLease bring it back.

thanks

FriedSprout England Wed 05-Dec-12 19:40:39

For you

Lots of love,

pELFic sad

AnyaKnowIt Germany Wed 05-Dec-12 20:45:59

I'm still missing my floaty bar thingy sad

AmberLeaf Wed 05-Dec-12 21:01:25

Its good in a way, because Ive hardly been on Mumsnet at all since floaty bar left us. Got much more done today!

I don't get why those that didn't like it couldn't have just hidden it? confused

VicarInaTutuDrankSantasSherry Wed 05-Dec-12 21:06:33

oooooo, is HQ reconsidering the floaty bar? i am really missing floaty bar....its a pain in the arse on a laptop to keep scrolling

CharlotteCollinsislost Wed 05-Dec-12 21:40:44

That's brilliant, though, having the Active l Threads I'm On l etc line at the bottom of the thread, too. (Has it always been there, and I've only just noticed it, or is that new, too?)

I'm sad the floaty bar's gone, but I'm guessing I'll get used to it. I'm with Tiger Feet about change!

CharlotteCollinsislost Wed 05-Dec-12 21:42:02

If you bring it back, will you call it floaty bar rather than viewport bar?
