You may remember we recently joined up with What Car? to bring you Mumsnet Cars, a great place to go for Mumsnetter reviews and expert advice (if we do say so ourselves).
We're sure you've all had a good nosey round the new site, but if you haven't, why not head over now to read the reviews that have been written about your car. Is there anything that has been missed so far that you think others should know? Is there anything in the current review you don't agree with? Or a feature you want to shout about? If so, please add your own review to give other Mumsnetters valuable information about your experiences.
If there isn't a review on your car already why not add one to help other Mumsnetters who are looking for a family car? Here's the link: www.mumsnet.com/cars/reviews
Also, do come back to this thread and let us know you've added your review.
Also do tell us about your ideal family car. If you could have any feature possible, what would it be? What's the one thing family cars are missing? What is the deciding factor when you buy a car?
As a token of our eternal and grateful thanks we persuaded the lovely team behind Nativity 2 - Danger in the Manger (released November 23 - staring David Tennant and Joanna Page - check out the trailer here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmqB5ZRhWA0&feature=plcp) to donate a really cool prize. Everyone who adds a comment to this thread (including those who say they have added a review) has a chance to win a half day rafting trip for 6 people (worth £320) in Snowdonia - see here for more info.
If you don't live near here or aren't planning on visiting Wales any time soon, the winner will be able to transfer the prize to a friend or relation. Please note the minimum age for the trip is 12 years old and the trip must be taken before 12/11/2013. Please click here for full Ts&Cs.
Don't forget to add your car review
Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ
Thanks for all your comments. The winner of the prize draw is...

Congratulations, I'll PM you with details.
I have posted my review for the Touran. I love my car!
Done!
Have commented on my totally wonderful XC90. Expensive but bought 2nd (or in our case 4th) hand, a really great car.
Insure, not ensure
Fab
It is a Chevrolet spark 1.2 LT, bought as a second car for the family and chosen to be cheap to ensure my teenagers on, and intentionally relatively gutless.
It's a very comfy wee car with a surprisingly high spec level - it has almost every gadget. It's the little things I love; the space to store my glasses, the reversing beepers and the roof rails for when I want to put my bike on top.
It has a tiny boot but I can get four or five bags in if I try. The engine does feel a bit underpowered but that is a boon in my household, it saves teens being tempted to speed. MPG and insurance wise it is very low, with tiny road tax too. Oh, and it is very nippy around town.
Comfort - four stars
Ease of driving - four stars
Powerful - two stars
Built to last - three stars
Value for money - five stars
VictorAndBarry - Am checking for you - thanks for chasing up on this.
In the meantime if you want to add a review to this thread I will enter you in the draw. You need to add a review (in words) as well as how many stars out of 5 you'd give it for the following aspects: Comfortable, Easy to drive, Powerful, Built to last, Value for money. Don't forget the make and model
thanks
I have added review for a nissan x trail .. mines is an 01 so not new ...... but still got good life left in it
.
so comfy ... and roomy for the dogs and all my bits.
MNHQ, any update on those of us who would love to review, love to win, and whose cars are not in the list?
It would appear that I am the only one who wants to win (hint hint).
Oh I see I'm not alone! Glad it ain't just me...! <big wuss>
That's a very generous prize but if anything could persuade me not to write a review, it's the idea of having to go rafting in the middle of winter - or any time really!
So I'll add one, or maybe two, when I get a moment, but please don't make me win
Awwww.....my Toyota Hilux is not on there - it's a great family car, with the biggest boot ever
. Love my pick-up!
Have reviewed my car and dh's, is that allowed?
Thought I would add his as he has a landrover defender and they are always slated. But we love it and so do the kids!
It is more expensive to run as not many miles to the gallon and noisy but so much more fun than mine. Also can do hours on the road without kids complaining which is an absolute bonus.
Marking this to remind myself. Although rafting is my actual idea of hell. what's the betting it becomes the first and only mumsnet competition I win?
Have added a review, but had problems doing the star rating - when I hover over the star ratings, the stars disappear (using mac, and on latest version of firefox) - tried to go back in and edit them, but it doesn't seem to accept it. Drive should be 4 x not 3 x if you can see my review, Olivia.
I've added one for the Megane and another for the Focus. We're replacing the Megane with something a bit bigger next week so will have an extra one to post soon!
I've added a review - not sure why Audi A6s are in the Executive Car bracket on the review site when the A4 is in the Estate Car bracket. I'd have thought they should both be down as Estate Cars?
I added a review
I am amazed to find my car on the list, I don't know anyone else with one, I love it to bits evn though I spend £500 on fuel! Mercedes GL500
Hello - keep the brilliant reviews (and not-so-brilliant) coming
Some of you have asked about cars 'not on the list' - and I have asked the team about this...watch this space...
If you do add a review do let us know here for a chance to win the rafting trip.. thanks
Ive added a review about the Ford Smax which is fantastic apart from our current issue with finding out it doesnt have a spare wheel!
I have a fiat multipla. It's a 6 seater and we love it! Family of 2 adults and 4 children age 1-12 and we can fit everything we need (inc travel cot and pushchair) for a weeks holiday in the boot an all the kids have full size seat and loads of leg room. I'm also a childminder and have 3 0-4yrs car seats all on back row and two double and a single buggy in the boot!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why isn't this reviewed!
MNHQ
How can I write a revies of my car when you don't have it in the drop down options?
It's aMazda RX8. Maybe I'm being stupid and missing it? You have MX5s there, so it's not like you've only got 'family' cars?
We love our RX8. It's a family car for us as DS can sit in the back with plenty of room and we love it.
Seriously not 1 little Rover? It's not THAT old
Well, I like it. So there.
